Worst Radio Entertainment Or Comedy Show

BERT: Radio is as close to a perfect medium for comedy as it gets. Cheap to make and able to conjure up situations with just a few words, in a civilised nation it'd be a fertile breeding ground for all manner and stripe of comedy. In Australia, it's where two basically identical 20-somethings ask for people to call in for "Where's the weirdest place you've had sex?"

Kyle & Jackie O (Worst Radio Comedy)

What is there left to be said about Kyle and Jackie O that hasn't already been said about botulism? It's not like people don't know the kind of vile drivel they peddle - even the haters can't exactly say "I tuned in expecting to find some biting satire on the unsteady state of the current government's whaling policy, only to discover they were asking an underage girl about her sex life! My monocle nearly fell into my cup of earl grey!" To call them bottom-feeders would be an insult to every living thing on the planet and the very concept of "bottom", but hey: they're richer than you, so clearly you're just jealous.

Matt Tilley and Jo Stanley do a show that does amazingly well in the ratings despite it being basically impossible to find anyone who says they listen to it (we tried). So either the rating system in this country is completely bogus, or they put on a show so bland and forgettable than even the people who tune in have no recollection of it. Honestly, either theory works for us.

Let's be fair to Steve Vizard: he's just doing right-wing talk-back on a station no-one listens to. Which is actually pretty funny when you think about it.
