Last year's winner:
Charlie Pickering (Most Disappointing Comedian)

Haven't you people learnt by now that Josh Thomas is a very disappointing comedian? Or perhaps his overwhelming win here is a reflection of the love our voters have for the other two nominees. Either way, unless someone takes Josh Thomas aside and makes it very clear to him that he's an annoying, unfunny pain, we'll be putting up with his brand of himbo whimsy for the next 30 years.

It's easy to be disappointed by Shaun Micallef's decision to host a game show. But it seems more of a smart career move than a change of attitude, which is surely the lesser of two evils. He still manages to sneak the kind of humour his core fans love him for into TBYG when he can, and taking on the show was probably just a way for him to reach a level of popularity that would allow him to do whatever he wanted. Which from the side projects we've seen in recent years is still his unique brand of surreal, intelligent comedy.

As for Tony Martin, his nomination isn't so much for him, but for the many producers and executives who've turned down the no doubt excellent projects he's pitched them over the past couple of years. It also pre-dates the news that he'd be hosting The Joy of Sets with Ed Kavalee later this year, as well as making a film with Ed Kavalee and Lachy Hulme with the hilarious title Scumbus. So, uh, carry on folks, nothing to see here.
